Whitehorse Curling Club

The Whitehorse Curling Club (WCC) is an 8 sheet venue with high quality professionally maintained curling ice. We offer daily leagues and bonspiels during a six month season. We've hosted many curling greats including Randy Ferby, Kevin Koe and Kevin Martin. Canada Winter Games, Arctic Winter Games, the Canadian Mixed Championships, the Canadian Masters Championships, and the McCain's Skins Game have all been here. The Eleventh End Lounge provides beverage services and offers great viewing from above ice level. Beginners and competitive curlers all find a welcoming home at the WCC.

This season in response to COVID-19, special provisions will be in place to prevent the spread. Draw times will be staggered to control traffic flow in and about the club. Sweeping will be restricted to manage physical distancing on the ice. League team numbers will be capped. Safety plans for the sport and the lounge are practical while responding to public health requirements. We've tried to keep the game as much as possible as we know it. If everyone takes responsibility and plays their part, we can have a full season on the ice.

ONE RULE PREVAILS THIS SEASON - If you're ill, have cold or flu-like symptoms, have been exposed to COVID-19, or have been asked to self-isolate due to travel, we ask that you not come to the curling club. This rule will affect curlers, staff, club members, and visitors to our facilities.

This season we are introducing curling.io, an online curling registration platform. ONLINE REGISTRATION will improve our service to members and reduce the need for in-person registration events. As we launch the program, there may be a few bugs. We hope you will be patient with us.

Before you go the the Leagues Tab, here's a few things that will help... 1. Know how many members are on your team to ensure the correct fee. 2. Know who will be designated as your skip to prevent duplicate teams. 3. Friday night teams need to know the team name and ensure everyone uses the same name to prevent duplicate teams.

If you're new to the club and LOOKING FOR A TEAM, give Karen and I a call or send us an email. We're here to help. If you have problems with registration or questions about return-to-curl plans, we can help you as well.

We look forward to seeing you on the ice.
